In a series of tweets, Denver teacher Kyle Schwartz’s “I Wish My Teacher Knew” lesson reveals the candid realities of her students’ lives.
The students’ notes, often devastating and poignant, have given Schwartz, and the world, an inside look at what some students’ lives are like.

Schwartz hopes her lesson can help her connect students and their families with the proper resources they need to live comfortably. She has also setup a donorschoose page to help her students with future projects.
